Grafana Campfire 🔥 - What’s New in Table & Text Panel - (Grafana Community Call - Oct 2026)
Join us for a Grafana Campfire on the New Text and Table panels. See how the redesigned Text editor lets you write and preview side by side, and how Handlebars templates, value mappings, thresholds and Mermaid diagrams turn your query results into rich, data-driven content. Then we’ll look at Table’s new ad hoc interactions (hide, filter and group, right in the table) and a first look at how Table works with Grafana Assistant. *Hosts:* Syed Usman Ahmad and Myrle Krantz *Experts:* Paul Marbach and Antonio Solano 00:00 - Welcome & Introductions 02:17 - Halloween Icebreaker 06:34 - What's New in the Text Panel 14:14 - Version Availability & Feature Flags 15:15 - Text Panel Demo: Data Awareness & Inline Styling 19:28 - Text Panel Demo: Handlebars Templating & Logic 25:12 - Frame Selector & Dynamic Pagination 29:00 - Mermaid Diagrams & Theme-Aware Styling 34:27 - What's New in the Table Panel 37:12 - Auto-Fit Panel Layouts & Dynamic Resizing 42:13 - Column Management (Reordering, Hiding & Transforms) 47:53 - Interactive Sparklines & Hover Tooltips 49:52 - Grafana Assistant Integration & Cell Actions 52:49 - JSON Syntax Highlighting 53:31 - Numeric Range & Date Range Filtering 56:17 - Feature Availability & Release Plans 58:05 - Audience Q&A: Memory & Performance Tuning 59:38 - Wrap-up & Closing Remarks We looking forward to see and answer all your questions 🙂 Link to join the Community Forum: https://community.grafana.com/t/grafana-campfire-what-s-new-in-table-text-panel-grafana-community-call-oct-2026/164741 Link to join the Meetup Group: https://www.meetup.com/grafana-friends-virtual-meetup-group/events/317026854/ #grafana #tabular #dashboard #datavisualization
