Complete Mac mini M6 Local LLM Stress Test — 5 Models, 3 Inference Engines
In this video, I put the Mac mini M6 through a complete Local LLM stress test using 5 different AI models across 3 inference engines. Instead of testing just one model and looking at tokens per second, I wanted to see how this compact machine handles different model architectures, memory requirements and real-world local inference workloads. I test models from Qwen, Gemma and Bonsai, including larger MoE and dense models, using oMLX, MTPLX and LM Studio.
