Computing Pioneers POV: Alonzo Church
Born on June 14, 1903, Church helped establish the mathematical foundations of computer science through his work on lambda calculus, computability, and the Church–Turing thesis. His ideas continue to influence programming languages, algorithms, and our understanding of what computers can and cannot do.
