Physical AI at National Scale: HUMAIN x Applied Intuition

SaudiArabia is set to become a leader in physical AI, starting with launching autonomous trucking at national scale. Applied Intuition and HUMAIN have announced a strategic collaboration to deploy thousands of autonomous trucks throughout key logistics corridors by 2030, at a scale that would make it the largest autonomous trucking network in the world. The companies will establish a foundational framework for autonomy across the Kingdom as the first major initiative under HUMAIN’s physical AI strategy, laying the groundwork to expand into robotaxis, ports, mining, and other industries in future phases. ➡️ Proven Tech Foundation: Applied Intuition’s Self-Driving System (SDS), together with Vehicle OS, will serve as the centerpiece of the collaboration—building on proven L4 operations with Isuzu Motors and autonomous haulage with Komatsu. ➡️ Built for Demanding Environments: Engineered to operate in extreme heat, blowing sand, and long-haul routes, adapting real-world scenarios back into large-scale simulation infrastructure. ➡️ Continuous Operations: Autonomous fleets optimize every mile for fuel efficiency, monitor vehicle health, and operate around the clock to move goods safer and faster across key highway corridors. ➡️ National-Scale Blueprint: Applied Intuition is expanding its office in Riyadh to hire a local team, creating the high-value technical jobs needed to deploy, operate, and scale autonomous fleets directly in the Kingdom.
