How does agentic AI work in public sector environments? [Quick Question Ep. 5]
How does agentic AI work, and how is it being used in public sector environments? Agentic AI is an advanced form of AI that performs complex tasks autonomously, coordinating with other AI agents to analyze information, make decisions, and adapt in real time without step-by-step human guidance. In the public sector, that capability has to be paired with data transparency and accuracy. Agencies need to trust their AI inputs, knowing where data is pulled from, whether it provides the full picture, and that communication paths are auditable for compliance. That’s why government organizations are turning to platforms like Elasticsearch to improve visibility across their data ecosystem and maintain consistent AI governance. 0:05 — How does Agentic AI work? 0:25 — Agentic AI in action: defense flight planning 0:43 — Why the public sector needs AI transparency and accuracy 1:17 — How Elasticsearch supports AI governance 1:40 — What are agentic AI use cases in the public sector?
