Private Enterprise AI Strategy & SUSE AI Factory | SUSE Summit Sydney

In this presentation from SUSE Summit Sydney, Rhys Oxenham, General Manager of AI at SUSE, outlines the company’s private enterprise AI strategy and introduces the SUSE AI Factory. This turnkey digital assembly line provides a secure, scalable platform for running generative AI and inference workloads across any deployment footprint. Key Topics Covered: • Market Challenges & Gaps: Addressing the "production chasm" where many AI pilots fail to reach production scale, along with the risks of shadow AI, volatile cloud economics, and digital sovereignty. • SUSE AI Factory Architecture: A look at the three fundamental layers built on SUSE’s open infrastructure platform using Linux and Kubernetes, delivered through a Rancher extension operator. • Strategic Hardware Partnerships: Collaborations with major silicon vendors, including an embedded software suite partnership with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, alongside integrations with AMD and Arm. • Operations & Observability: How the platform supports infrastructure efficiency with native multi-tenancy, workload isolation, and integrated observability to maximize hardware utilization. • Fast-Track Blueprints: Using pre-validated, customizable blueprints for common enterprise AI use cases such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), digital assistants, and code assistants. Learn how SUSE AI Factory can help organizations move AI from experimentation to production while maintaining control over infrastructure, data, and deployment choices. #SUSE #SUSEAI #AIFactory #EnterpriseAI #GenerativeAI #PrivateAI #Kubernetes #Rancher #NVIDIAAI #CloudNative #NVIDIA
