What's new in Claude: September recap

Chat and Cowork are now one Claude, and September's updates add docs, decks, and designs to any conversation. Work now runs in the cloud so it keeps going after you close your laptop, Claude Docs lets your team edit in the same doc as Claude, and the new Claude 5.5 models power it all. Opus 5.5 for the heavy lifting, Sonnet 5.5 for quick rounds of edits. And, if you already know the format you want, type /slides, /docs, or /designs to skip straight to it.
