One community building the open agentic stack.AGNTCon + MCPCon Japan 2026 brought developers, platform teams, researchers, and enterprises to Belle Salle Shibuya Garden on September 10–11 for Japan’s first dedicated conference on production-ready agentic AI and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This highlight reel captures the energy on the ground: packed halls, keynotes from MCP co-creator David Soria Parra (Anthropic), AAIF leadership, Google, Hitachi, Solo.io, Workato, and builders from SoftBank, NTT, Mitsubishi Electric, and more. Sessions went deep on interoperability, MCP infrastructure, A2A coordination, enterprise security, governance, observability, and what it takes to run agents in real systems-not just demos. Over 700 companies were represented. The through-line was clear: open protocols, reliable tool connectivity, trust boundaries, and the standards needed as agent systems move into production. Watch the full session recordings as they roll out on the Agentic AI Foundation YouTube channel. Review slides on the event schedule. Join the next AAIF events.
