What a world model actually is

A world model, in simple terms, is a very robust data ingestion engine, and that is what the whole industry is trying to build. Sam Sinha, Head of the World Model Lab at 1X talks about why robotics stands apart: it offers access to more modalities, including tactile information and rich sensory and proprioceptive data, and why that makes the field so interesting to work in. #micro1 #worldmodels #robotics #physicalai #ai #roboticsdata #humanoidrobots #shorts #shortsfeed
