Connect AI Agents to SAP with MCP Gateway | SAP TechEd 2026
How can you securely connect AI agents to SAP business data using Model Context Protocol (MCP)? See SAP Integration Suite and SAP Enterprise AI Gateway in action. At SAP TechEd 2026, Antonio Maradiaga, Developer Advocate at SAP, demonstrates how developers can expose existing SAP APIs as MCP servers, making enterprise data accessible to AI agents and applications. Discover how SAP Enterprise AI Gateway, built on SAP Integration Suite, helps simplify AI integration while maintaining enterprise security, access control, and governance. Follow a live walkthrough of creating an MCP server from an existing API, configuring tools and authorization policies, and publishing it through SAP Developer Hub. See how the connection is then configured in Joule Desktop, allowing an AI agent to securely retrieve business data from SAP S/4HANA using natural language.
