AP2 - Agent Payments Protocol Sometime last year we had MCP (Model Context Protocol) introduced by Anthropic for connecting AI agents to external systems like Github, Slack, etc. Following that we had the Agent 2 Agent (A2A) protocol in April. It enabled agents to communicate with each other. But, what if the agents now want to deal with payments. The Agent Payment Protocol (AP2) is the answer by Google.
