Here's the quick version: Claude Fable 5 is the public Mythos-class model anyone can use, and it's state-of-the-art on nearly every benchmark — software engineering, science, knowledge work, and vision. Claude Mythos 5 is the same underlying model with safeguards lifted in some areas, but it's only going to a small group of cyberdefenders and infrastructure providers through Project Glasswing (in partnership with the U.S. government), so most people won't get hands-on access to that one. The other big news: it's cheaper. Both models come in at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens — less than half the price of the Mythos Preview. And from launch through June 22, Fable 5 is included on Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans at no extra cost.
