Inside the International Conference on Machine Learning in Seoul 2026 with Valence Labs & Recursion
Recursion’s AI research arm, Valence Labs, had a great time at ICML (International Conference on Machine Learning) in Seoul. 💠We shared our latest model updates, including AquaGen, a new generative model that produces physically realistic molecular configurations, including water, 4–10x faster than traditional molecular dynamics. 💠We checked out the terrific keynote on Lab-in-a-Loop for Drug R&D from Aviv Regev on how AI drug discovery works: collecting large-scale data at high-resolution from human biology and combining these large datasets with AI to yield testable predictions of missing information and iteratively improve models. 💠And we gathered over 100 people working in and around AI drug discovery for a TechBio Social. See you next year! #ICML2026 #AI #DrugDiscovery #TechBio
