Driving Value and Growth Through Sustainable Data Infrastructure

In this episode of the Pure Report, we welcome Kathy Mulvany, Senior Director and Global Head of Sustainability and Social Impact at Everpure. Kathy reflects on her career path from Cisco and ServiceNow to building a holistic corporate sustainability program. Our conversation centers on the release of Everpure’s recent Global Impact Report, highlighting how sustainability has evolved into an essential cross-functional effort embedded across every department in the organization. Kathy explains why sustainability is an engineering and operating discipline rather than a simple reporting exercise. Our discussion covers major product efficiency milestones, including circular manufacturing through remanufactured Direct Flash Modules that avoid thousands of metric tons of carbon emissions. Listeners will hear real world customer success stories, from AI data centers achieving industry leading power efficiency to state government agencies drastically shrinking their physical data center footprint and energy usage. We also explore Everpure operational sustainability efforts, supply chain engagement, and community impact through the Everpure Foundation. Kathy breaks down Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, explaining how working closely with strategic suppliers reduces overall carbon footprints. Finally, Kathy introduces impact accounting and shares why framing sustainability around business value, risk management, and long term growth is critical for modern technology leaders.
