In this video, I use Codex to build a complete ecommerce app with Django, Django REST Framework, React, and Paystack. We start by planning the backend, generating an AGENTS.md file, and creating the prompts needed to guide Codex properly. Then we build the backend API, implement user authentication, add cart functionality for both authenticated and anonymous users, convert cart items into orders, and integrate Paystack for payment collection. After testing the backend API, we move to the frontend and build a clean React ecommerce interface that connects properly with the backend. By the end of this video, you will see how Codex can be used as an AI coding agent to speed up fullstack development while still keeping the project structured, practical, and easy to follow.
