Set Up Data Contracts and Metric Monitors with the Soda MCP

Getting a new database under data quality coverage usually means writing a lot of checks by hand. In this demo I use the new Soda MCP with Claude to do it end to end, without leaving the terminal. In Soda, checks live inside a contract: a set of promises a table makes to whoever uses it. This id is unique, this column is never empty, this data is fresh. If a promise breaks, the check fails. Contracts are just files, and AI is good at working with files.
