AI Acting: Watch the Blinks, Pauses and Reactions

The small performance choices can matter as much as the spoken line. In this excerpt I discuss a fictional dramatic scene from my Chubby trailer test: intentional framing and lighting, an inquisitive look, a blink, and a character seeming to think before speaking. The point is to judge whether the generated performance supports the scene you designed. This was one result that impressed me in an early-access preview test. It does not mean every generation produces the same level of acting, and it should be considered alongside the failures shown in the longer review.
