While large language models show emerging abilities on Theory-of-Mind tasks, their reasoning can still be fragile, especially in multi-agent and multi-step settings. In this talk, Yuheng Wu will present his recent work on using Dynamic Epistemic Logic as a structured inference-time framework for Theory-of-Mind reasoning. The method explicitly tracks belief states and belief updates, enabling more reliable and interpretable reasoning without additional model training. Before joining Stanford, he received his B.E. in Electronic Information Engineering from Wuhan University. His research centers on large language models, with a focus on reasoning, test-time methods, verification, formal methods, and hardware-software co-design. — 🗨️ Join us for an interactive session exploring Neuro-Symbolic AI, the emerging paradigm that blends the strengths of neural networks with symbolic reasoning.
