On-Device Agents Running 24/7: LFM2.5-2.6B Plans a Wedding Trip

LFM2.5-2.6B is a 2.6B parameter agentic model small enough to run on a phone, fast enough to stay responsive on a CPU, and capable enough to power agentic workflows: planning, calling tools, and tackling multi-step tasks. In this demo, a wedding invite lands at 3:45 AM and a swarm of local agents springs into action: reading the email, checking the calendar, researching travel logistics, building an outfit mood board, and spinning up dedicated agents for flights, hotel, rental car, and wardrobe, each running on its own schedule, in the background, and entirely on-device. Because local inference is free, agents like this can run in parallel around the clock, at no marginal cost per token.
