LibreOffice - The Document Foundation

For over 20 years LibreOffice’s Mac-native interface was created by drawing pictures of buttons and checkboxes with outdated functions. While this has served us well, it still doesn’t look quite native, doesn’t provide the same standard behavior as first-party applications, and these outdated functions are going away. We can do better! From real native Mac controls, to third-party helpers, to Apple’s new standard writing and creation tools, this talk explores new possibilities to help LibreOffice look and work better on Apple platforms. Presenter: Dan Williams For more information, please see: https://events.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice-conference-2026/talk/3RKQPT/ LibreOffice is a free, private and open source office suite. It has no forced or built-in AI, and is backed by a non-profit foundation.
