GRAIL presented long-term data from the SYMPLIFY study with the University of Oxford at the Early Detection of Cancer Conference (EDCC). Sir Harpal Kumar, GRAIL’s president of International Business & BioPharma, discusses SYMPLIFY, which is a prospective multicenter observational study and represents the first large-scale evaluation of a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test in symptomatic patients who were referred for investigation for suspected cancer. The Galleri test does not detect a signal for all cancers, and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. False-positive and false-negative results do occur. Galleri is a screening test and does not diagnose cancer. Diagnostic testing is needed to confirm cancer. Rx only. See Important Safety Information: https://www.galleri.com/safety-information
