Simulate Robotiq Grippers With NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton
Get under the hood of Robotiq’s gripper simulation workflows in NVIDIA Isaac Sim. In this livestream, the team will walk through the five-bar linkage articulation challenge in its underactuated gripper and how it was addressed in simulation. You’ll also see Newton used for closed-loop kinematics, along with PhysX and a mimic joint for parallel gripping across two USD variants. The session also explores Robotiq’s tactile sensors and what changes when deformable bodies enter the simulation. To wrap up, the team will highlight additional components available in Isaac Sim, including Hand-E and 2F-140, and share what’s next for Robotiq’s simulation assets. You’ll Learn - How Robotiq solved a challenging gripper articulation problem. - How Newton, PhysX, and mimic joints work together in simulation. - What tactile sensors extension and deformable bodies look like in Isaac Sim workflows. - Which Robotiq components are available today—and what’s coming next. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📆 Check out the full calendar for all of our upcoming events → https://nvda.ws/3JqaWnA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⬇️Get Started → https://nvda.ws/4cZAZO1 👀Explore OpenUSD → https://nvda.ws/3CeozBQ 👥Join the Community → https://nvda.ws/3ZMfc6e
