Graphs Are For Stream Processing Now | RTA Summit 2025

Graph data structures are a rich tool for data modeling, querying, and analytics—but have always been far too slow to be used in real-time and streaming applications. Because we couldn't scale those graph systems, we had to settle for complex bespoke pipelines that simulate a graph, but become very complex, expensive, and brittle. A new open source project is changing that dynamic and bringing streaming graph analytics to real-time event stream processing. Voted as the "best open source project of the year", Quine is a "streaming graph" that enables users to build limitless graphs from streaming data, and then automatically monitor that graph with real-time "standing queries" to stream out highly-enriched results.
