How live music is helping advance AI research

Over two days, micro1 sponsored more than 20 live performances across San Francisco, giving local musicians new stages while capturing real-world audio data for AI and music research. The goal is to help improve music education tools, deepen how systems understand instruments and musical structure, and create new ways for emerging artists to be discovered. We believe the future of music should mean more human creativity, not less.
