Phew! 60 seconds is not a lot of time to explain the motivation and solution for a research problem but that's what the submission venue required. I did my best! This is a 60-second summary of our work in multi-agent coordinated robotic exploration. We did some interesting evaluations for this work, including taking signal strength measurements indoors in a concrete and stone hallway to simulate RF-attenuation properties robots might encounter in cave-like environments. We also created multiple environments based on real-world tunnels and caves using IsaacSim and ran many simulations of this UAV-quadruped robot team with our Adaptive-RF Transmission (ART) algorithm and the signal-strength threshold version (ART-SST). There's a pre-print manuscript available for this work if you're interested in reading further: https://arxiv.org/abs/2602.12074! Stay tuned for the GitHub repo release. #robotics #gradschool
