Generating a 30-Second Video Game Ad with AI Workflows: Street Interview of an Avid Gamer
Visit https://bit.ly/4sGGlH1 if you're ready to start building automated AI workflows today! Welcome to the latest edition of Layer's Workflows tutorial! In this video, Alex, VP of Product at Layer.ai, focuses on generating a full 30-second long ad for a fictional game called Escape from Atlantis entirely via AI and Layer workflows. The ad is a short-form video created using multiple video generators, prompts, a composition node, and the image generation node. What we cover in this tutorial: -Setting up the Workflow: The workflow starts with a gameplay video created using a Veo3.1 video node, which utilizes a pre-created first frame asset and prompts for the rest of the content. The video depicts a mobile game character playing an endless runner game through a maze of falling rocks, waterfalls, and collapsing ruins similar to the lost city of Atlantis. -Creating the Endcap: The last frame of the gameplay video is extracted using the "extract frame" utility node and fed into the first frame of the endcap video. The last frame of the endcap video is composed using a composition node with the game's logo, a call to action (CTA), and a base image of an explorer in the entryway of Atlantis. The endcap video itself is generated using a Veo3.1 video node with three distinct prompts for narration. -The Interview Segments: The video includes two street interview segments. The first prompt asks for a young male interviewee talking about Escape from Atlantis and mentioning that even his grandmother plays it. The final video is constructed using a stitcher node. -The Stitcher Node: The stitcher node is used to arrange and stitch the individual generated videos—Street Interview one, Street Interview two, the start of the gameplay video, and the end video—into the final composed video. -Regenerating the Creative: By testing the workflow and running it again with varied prompts, a user can regenerate an entirely new user acquisition video, creating different people, different wording in the street interviews, a different gameplay video, and a different endcap.
