How to Build a 3D World With AI & Gaussian Splatting
SCAD students built SplatGarden, an interactive garden environment that lives entirely in your browser, combining AI-driven content creation, 3D Gaussian Splatting, simulation, and live interaction. Powered by NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs in SCAD's AI Lab, the team used Houdini, Unreal Engine, and OpenUSD to author a rich environment, then trained it as a 3D Gaussian Splat rendered in real time via WebGL. In this spotlight, the SplatGarden team walks through their pipeline from authoring to deployment, how they leveraged NVIDIA hardware and AI tools at each stage, and what this workflow means for the future of interactive 3D on the web. 📆 Check out the full calendar for all of our upcoming events → https://nvda.ws/3JqaWnA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⬇️Get Started → https://nvda.ws/4cZAZO1 👀Explore OpenUSD → https://nvda.ws/3CeozBQ 👥Join the Community → https://nvda.ws/3ZMfc6e
