New users can now sign up using Google, GitHub, Apple, or Amazon accounts without needing a credit card to start. Connecting your computer to the cloud no longer requires setting up security keys by hand either. Instead, you can copy a single prompt into AI coding tools like Claude Code to handle the background setup automatically. Team management and monthly billing received massive upgrades as well. Inviting a teammate to your project now takes a simple email invite rather than writing complex security rules. Even better, AWS now lets you set a strict spending cap, such as twenty dollars.
