Most Overkill Way To Track Your Bus (God’s Eye View Public Transit Mode)

Probably the most overkill way to track your bus and it’s fully open source. The latest God's Eye View update puts public transit on a 3D globe. You can now follow buses and trams across the city of Boston, check their latest updates, and even watch their paths build up as the app runs, all locally on your computer. You can literally turn on the traffic layer and suddenly you get a remarkably complete picture of how any city is moving. I have literally spent hours watching this stuff. It's a really cool way to get an understanding of real-time location applications at the intersection of geospatial intelligence and open-source intelligence. This open source MIT license project has been a labor of love for many contributors hope you enjoy!
