Can you plot in SQL? You can NOW with ggsql! | Thomas Pedersen | Data Science Hangout

Yes, you can! ggsql brings plotting to SQL using the Grammar of Graphics! You get to write in familiar SQL syntax, add data visualization clauses (yep!), and then get gorgeous charts, all without switching to a different tool. The Data Science Lab is a live weekly call. Register at pos.it/dslab! Discord invites go out each week on lives calls. We'd love to have you! It's is an open, messy space for learning and asking questions. Think of it like pair coding with a friend or two. Learn something new, and share what you know to help others grow. On this call, Thomas Pedersen, Principal Software Engineer at Posit and author of R viz packages like ggforce, patchwork, and ggfx, tells us all about ggsql. He walks through the website where you can install it, a live web-based playground where you can test it out stress-free, and how to use it in the Positron IDE, too.
