Native file storage and a hosted SFTP server in Celigo

Watch a Celigo flow drop a file into native platform storage, then hand that file to a trading partner over an SFTP server Celigo hosts — with no external file provider anywhere in the chain. The setup: until the July release, a flow that needed to hand a file to another flow had nowhere inside Celigo to put it. So teams brought in a Google Drive, or a NetSuite file cabinet, or something like it, purely to act as the handoff point. Partner file exchange had the same shape, one layer out — you went and found a company to provision an SFTP server for you, which the speaker describes as a nightmare to source and clunky to work with once you had it. Celigo file storage solves the first problem. The SFTP server layer on top of it removes the second. Here's how it works: ▸ File storage shows up under Resources in the left nav, scoped to the integrations that user already has access to — manage and monitor users included, not only admins and owners. ▸ Every integration in the account gets a folder created for it, so files and folders are governed in the same place and with the same access model as the integrations they belong to. ▸ Files get in three ways: a user uploads through the UI, an API call uploads, or a partner lands them through the hosted SFTP server. Flows, B2B Manager, and EDI all read and write that same storage. ▸ Enable the SFTP file server, then create file server accounts — a username and password per account, with SSH keys coming in a later release. ▸ Set a home folder path per account so a partner's root directory maps to one specific folder inside Celigo, and nothing above it. ▸ A flow writes into those folders the way it writes to any other file connector — choose the path, choose the file name — which is what makes trading-partner EDI pickup and drop-off work end to end. ▸ Flows, B2B Manager tools, AI agents, and MCP can all reference these files and folders as resources available to them.
