AP Essentials 2026.3 improves invoice compliance and document processing with better ESXML attachment handling, expanded French e-invoicing support, and consistent searchable PDF output. Invoices received through InvoiceAgility can now make better use of information embedded in ESXML documents: the system extracts all embedded attachments, identifies those marked as legal or original, treats them as the original invoice document, and exports them through supported ERP connectors, preserving the original invoice and improving traceability. The release also expands support for the French e-invoicing mandate, adding ESXML field mappings and French reject code handling so rejection status is automatically sent back to InvoiceAgility. Finally, the Advanced Extraction engine now generates a searchable text layer for scanned PDFs without one, matching the Classic engine's existing behavior and making documents easier to review, search, and archive.
