Liquid AI CEO Ramin Hasani Announces New LFM Products at CES 2026 Opening Keynote with Lisa Su
On January 5, 2026 at CES, our CEO Ramin Hasani announced the release of LFM2.5, our most capable family of on-device foundation models to date, to the world with Lisa Su and AMD. LFM2.5 builds on the LFM2 architecture introduced last year, with major advances in training scale, reinforcement learning, and multimodal support, pushing what’s possible in the ~1B parameter class. This release reflects a clear design philosophy: maximize intelligence per unit of compute so high-quality AI can run locally, in real time, across CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs—without relying on cloud inference. In this clip, Ramin walks through why efficiency, latency, and deployability, not raw scale, will define the next phase of AI adoption. LFM2.5 is open-weight and available now. The future of on-device intelligence is here. Read the full release: https://lnkd.in/e_6RmVZU
