Why Your AI Agent Doesn't Need the Cloud: LFM2.5-8B-A1B

Most AI agent frameworks ship your files, screenshots, and prompts to a third-party cloud. For anything involving contracts or client data, that's not ideal. In this demo, Pau Labarta Bajo walks through LFM2.5-8B-A1B, a mixture-of-experts model that can run entirely on a MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM, paired with LocalCowork, an open-source agent harness from the Liquid AI cookbook. Everything stays on-device: Model, harness, data. He demos two examples including querying system info and scanning a directory for leaked secrets.
