Nova Systems primarily serves the defense, aerospace, and government sectors. With more than 1,500 employees and hundreds of active projects and programs, the company found that its outdated enterprise resource management system no longer met its needs. Teams relied heavily on Excel to supplement the system, creating challenges with control and data integrity. Nova Systems selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning as the foundation for a more connected approach to finance, human resources, procurement, programs, projects, planning, and forecasting. Nova Systems implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP with the full finance suite, Fusion Data Intelligence for ERP and human capital management, Enterprise Performance Management for planning and forecasting, as well as procurement and program and project capabilities. With Oracle, Nova Systems has seen efficiencies across finance, legal, and procurement while improving program and project management. Teams can now get an unbiased project health check at the touch of a button, giving them clearer visibility into project status. Nova Systems is also using AI capabilities within Oracle and plans to expand its use of AI within Fusion Data Intelligence for reporting and dashboards. These capabilities can provide different views of its data and support planning, strategy, and the company’s future direction as Nova Systems pursues organic growth and acquisitions.
