Harshil Mathur, CEO and co-founder of Razorpay, explains why adoption has to start with founders trying the latest models themselves. He also shares how Razorpay flipped its hackathons around, so that leaders build and engineers judge. Vikram Chopra, founder of Cars24, explains why the company got rid of every job title. There are no managers or VPs anymore, only builders, and anyone joining is expected to build their own agents. The conversation then turns to voice-led commerce. Harshil points out that around 600 million Indians use UPI every day, while fewer than 50 million shop online regularly, and that 70-75% of consumers paying through Razorpay don't use English as their first language. Many Indian languages don't have a written script, which is why he sees voice as what will bring agentic commerce to the rest of India. Both founders share what AI has already changed. Vikram has built around 40 agents of his own. He describes an AI relationship manager that guides first-time car buyers through their whole journey, and explains his goal of doing several years of work in one. Harshil walks through Razorpay's Agentic Dashboard and a WhatsApp agent where around 60% of interactions happen by voice, which has cut support volume by 30-40%. He also covers Agent Studio, which lets merchants run payment recovery calls on ElevenLabs voice. The panel closes on the first decisions they expect to become fully autonomous. For Razorpay, that's bugs found in voice conversations being fixed automatically. For Cars24, it's an experiment to have an agent run its Pune business end to end.
