Gemini Just Got 7 Big Updates You Need to See

Google just shipped seven updates to the Gemini app. Gemini can now make and edit files right in the chat, it works with more than 50 apps, and those apps are now open to developers. I took one photo of my handwritten meeting notes and turned it into a PDF plan, a Google Sheet and a six-slide deck, then had Gemini book a dinner table on OpenTable from the same chat. In this video: → Turn a photo of meeting notes into a PDF you can edit → Type straight into the file, or highlight one part and ask Gemini to change it → The same notes as a Google Sheet, sorted, with unowned tasks highlighted → A six-slide deck, then one slide cut down to three bullets → Markdown, plain text and a code checklist that runs in the chat → Connect apps like Canva and OpenTable, and book a real table → The new Connected Apps Platform for companies that want their app in Gemini and Search Demo data: one page of handwritten notes from a launch meeting for a new mobile app. Chapters 0:00 7 big Gemini updates 1:13 A simple example 1:39 Files in the chat 2:07 The meeting notes 2:32 Update 1: Notes to a PDF 3:09 Update 2: Type into the file 3:35 Update 3: Highlight and ask 4:17 Update 4: Google Sheet 5:01 Update 5: Slide deck 5:38 More file formats 5:59 Who should try this 6:19 Update 6: Connect your apps 6:48 Booking dinner with OpenTable 7:39 Update 7: Open to developers 8:30 Wrap-up Links Edit and preview documents directly in Gemini (Google blog): https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/products/gemini-app/edit-files-directly/ Build and manage Connected Apps in one place (Google blog): https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/technology/developers-tools/connected-apps-one-place/ Connected Apps Platform for developers: https://developers.google.com/connected-apps Try Gemini: https://gemini.google.com All opinions are my own and do not belong to my employer. #Gemini #GoogleGemini #AI
