This Video Edited Itself (Claude Code + Codex + ElevenLabs)
I love creating content and building proofs of concept. I hate video editing. So I built a pipeline that makes the video for me, and this video is its first output. How it works: - Claude Code writes the script in sections and directs everything - ElevenLabs speaks it in my cloned voice and returns a timestamp for every word - Remotion builds the video as code, every scene timed to the narration - Codex, connected to Claude as an MCP server, draws the illustrations - background music ducks under the voice automatically - the YouTube API, also connected as an MCP server, uploads it with thumbnail, chapters and subtitles Tools used (affiliate links*) - ElevenLabs (the voice in this video): https://try.elevenlabs.io/jxjwbkgzk3do * If you sign up through these links, I get a commission at no extra cost to you. Note: the voice is an AI clone of my own voice and the illustrations are AI generated.
