My Grok Bot is living in virtual office and manage team of 10 PhD employees (Ep. 2)
Last time, ten AI colleagues shared an office, and some of you said they did no useful work. This time I sent one message to the boss. At 5:21 on a Saturday afternoon I asked Ada, the office manager, through Grok Bot (a chat app connected to the office) to get a small team to build a two-player browser game about the office coffee machine. Ada said no. Then the project started, and stopped, and stopped again. About fifteen minutes later, including a cancel and a full restart, it was done: six files, 41 passing tests, and a capital-letter problem. In this episode: • a proper walk round the office: the studio, the quiet room, the coffee machine, the canteen • real brains: nine colleagues on deepseek v4.1 flash through Ollama Cloud, and Pip on Ornith 1.5 35B in LM Studio on my Mac • the settings: environment, people and memory, the comparison lab, Your desk • the CVs, and how Ada used them to staff the project • Grok Bot → Ada → the team, every stop and restart • Coffee Rematch, the game they built • what broke, which goes on the list for episode three Time-compressed sections are labelled on screen.
