Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 Explained: 192 GB, But Is It Faster?
AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 takes the chip I tested in four videos, the 395, and gives it 192 GB of unified memory instead of 128. I don't have one yet, so this is an explainer, not a review: AMD's spec pages, the makers' prices, the first independent tests, and my own 395 numbers. The short version: about 7% faster (memory bandwidth goes from 256 to 273 GB/s), 50% more memory. The extra 64 GB matters if the model you want lands between 128 and 192 GB. Otherwise it costs about $3,000 more for the same speed.
