I Vibe-Coded a Real Game - And It Actually Works
I wanted to find out how far vibe coding can actually go. Not another todo app. Not another AI-generated prototype. I tried building a real, playable tactical game — with combat, characters, UI, maps, objectives, dialogue and an actual gameplay loop. In this video, I show what worked, what completely broke, and why building a real game with AI is very different from vibe-coding a small app. The biggest lesson: AI can generate an insane amount of code — but once the project becomes large enough, understanding architecture, game state and the engine suddenly matters a lot.
